Environmental Policy
Any human behaviour leads to a strain on the surrounding environment. This also applies to the development, manufacture and use of the company products. Focon want to reduce this burden and create a mutual balance between consideration for the environment, economy and the products’ lifespan. We will act in accordance hereby with basis partly in our products’ life cycles, and partly in our daily work.
Development
In this process all properties that make the products environmentally friendly, and that are essential for environmental impacts doing the product life cycle are determined. Doing product development we will match the choice of materials, manufacturing processes and properties with environmental concerns and with the same priority as economy, function, etc. In this context, we will for example continue our longstanding practice of using PVC-free materials and avoid materials that can develop dangerous gases when they burn.
Manufacturing
Manufacturing of our products is expected to take place in working conditions with minimal strain on the internal working environment as well as the external environment. We prioritize a good and safe working environment high and minimize own manufacturing processes’ environmental impact. We will minimize the use of substances that can pose a health risk to our employees.
Application
Focon's customers expect our products to be of quality also in environmental terms. We will strive to ensure that our products have a long and trouble-free lifetime, that they are safe to use, has low life cycle costs and not otherwise have any significant impact on the environment during the usage period.
Disposal
Focon's customers expect that the disposal of our products can take place smoothly.
We will strive to ensure that product components can be identified in order to ensure an environmentally friendly treatment for disposal, for example through reprocessing, recycling, combustion or final disposal.
The daily work
We will ensure that our waste paper and scrap metal can be used for recycling, and we will sort the electronic waste and ensure proper disposal or recycling.
